Circle # 3

Circle # 3

Life is a full circle, widening until it joins the circle motions of the infinite

― Anaïs Nin

"

"CIRCLE NO. 3"  base is black -as in the previous  CIRCLE SERIES artworks. Silver strokes form repeated patterns appear on the black background, seemingly falling from its top.
The central circle is silver and hangs from seven silver-plated metal threads.
It features similar strokes within it to those outside it, but in black color (i.e., inverted), and incorporates other, somewhat more circular graphics, in some cases, which also fall or are sustained in the center or the artwork.
Meantime, it is somehow invaded by the black color that exceeds its frame and enters its edges, to a greater extent than in CIRCLE NO. 1 and CIRCLE NO. 2.
Three identical black shapes emerge from this circle, superimposed on it, forming three objects on the canvas that also exceed its outline and practically the edge of the artwork itself.
Two of these shapes are black and, although they reveal a sort of tear in this color that shows the silver color as their true base.
A third shape, located in the center, is entirely  made in metallic silver.
Each of them has an elongated central hole that allows the aforementioned black graphics to be seen through these gaps.
