"INTRO TO IMPERMANENCE B&W" shows a white abstract base where cross strokes arise predominantly on the canvas -which in some sectors make up other possible figures-; they have been painted in black, and the vast majority of them have been executed in relief over the entire white base. 
Five figures emerge in the center of  the artwork, executed in a different material from the canvas, superimposed and swen on it, and at a height of  0.80 inche from it. 
These figures are identical and black, with a tear evidenced through the white color appearing below the black. 
The first two and the last two figures are in different stages, while the central one is complete. They refer, in a representative or referential way, to the muneates used by women in kyudo, an ancient Japanese art or discipline of long bow and arrow, quite possibly the oldest method of attack and defense with weapons of the samurai. 
The muneates are protective shields that women use to protect their chest from the possible impact of the arrow when it is shot through the bow. The word kyudo can be translated as the way of the bow. 
Possible waters or a possible flat black floor, in execution of slightly undulating reliefs, is located on its lower edge from side to side. 
Sprouts arise from those possible waters or soil as growing life in the context of the artwork.
