SARS COVID-19 pandemic has exposed us, has exposed mankind to "panoramas", scenes and moments where we have learned perhaps something more than we might realize today. One of these scenes, we know that it has been isolation. This image refers to the tension at this point.
Human beings, like many animals, are beings that live as part of a community, so the impact of isolation on humanity definitely opened it to an unknown world, that has been many times dense, strong, why not also dramatic. This image refers to the stress at this point.
The base of this painting is abstract, and the central image of the room, melts into such abstraction, merges into the same shades of red.
The brushstrokes end in sharp points in representation of that tension, where a room joins to the whole through said tension and the body suspension leads us to the perception of a stopped time.
The window, however, shows the necessary opening of the circumstance from where light and darkness enter.
The human figure (which is a replica of another image that appears in another one of my paintings) reveals the state or sensations caused by the isolation that the central image represents in a posture of certain desolation and also reencounter with the body itself in introspection and concealment of what her face may reflect.
