This artwork has a white background using a very similar technique as the one used on "IMPERMANENCE B&W # 1" as this an artwork which is derived one from it.
The superimposition of another material placed in pieces on the canvas, which in some areas appears as if it were a gnawed surface that is peeling off, shows repeated patterns throughout its base - as the ones on "IMPERMANENCE B&W # 1" -, while those found on its background are painted in black, although those on the foreground just keep the white base although they can also be clearly seen in relief.
Some of those pieces that fall like a surface as foreground in pieces are intended to be joined together with a strong material such as a silver metal.
A plant bulb with barely drawn leaves appears complete on the left side appears along with some stems which are only drawn in black as if they were sketched.
This artwork is like an inverse duplication in color and position of the bulb that can be seen in "IMPERMANENCE B&W # 2-DERIVATIVE 1".
