Red # 5

Red # 5

I handed the beetle to my patient with the words "Here is your scarab"

― Carl Jung

"RED # 5" is related to "RED # 4" in a sort of deconstructed approach, if we consider the shapes position that is shown in the previous artwork.
We have some quarter circles on the left side, which have been executed in many reliefs with different strokes, where the golden color is important and appears on over different levels of red that merge on each of the edges of those shapes.
A large chrysanthemum appears on the right side, with a base of defined petals at its lower part. They are born from an "open" flower in its center where general brushstrokes predominate in its upper part and where irregular edges of the flower have been painted like that in a voluntarily way.

A single beetle is falling on the chrysanthemum while the red color falls on all the artwork in a fluid way. (GROUP: BECOMING)
