Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.

Albert Camus

"IN AUTUMN (THERE ARE ALSO FLOWERS)" is a mixed technique artwork with a black base from which concentric circles emerge showing golden edges, and at some point evoke a spiral. Only circles edges are gold, since they expose this black base of different shades, which however receives touches of gold (also in different shades amalgamated with black).
From the center of the artwork emerges a golden flower, which petals could well be also leaves, perhaps dried.
This figure protects natural tree bark inside, which has been painted in gold, and can be seen in a personal approach to the artwork since the petals-leaves are closed in their most central part, except in their lower part.
This closure of the flower is reaffirmed by three threads of golden metal, which in some way would attempt to hold the flower to that background from which it appears in its center.
